As a devoted grandmother, she spent years crafting engaging stories that mix fun and learning. With a background in art and storytelling and a master’s degree in English Literature, Sandhya brings a unique perspective to children’s books, introducing fascinating, lesser-known careers and encouraging children to think differently about their futures.
Her inspiration came one day while reading to her granddaughters. She realized that many stories for girls repeated the same old professions. “My son is a venture capitalist,” she thought, “and even adults struggle to explain what that means. Why not break these ideas down for kids?”
Sandhya splits her time between San Francisco and Bangalore with her family and continues to find joy in discovering and sharing the wonders of life.
Originally trained in computer game arts, Tom discovered his passion for children’s illustration f ive years ago. Since then, he has collaborated with publishing houses, authors, and design agencies to bring stories to life through character-driven artwork.
